Juneathon '18 day 29 - weights

Commuting takes up such a lot of time! Going in today was brilliant: a five minute head-start got us there a good 25 minutes earlier than normal. Coming back, though, was disastrous: a few accidents on the M4 meant massive detours and an overall time of not far short of two hours. So again, at least 2.5 hours spend driving. Yuk!

This evening, with kids to drop off etc, and not having really seen Ellie a great deal, a swim was out of the question. Instead I dived down to do about 45 minutes of weights at the end of the day. I've been loosely following the Livestrong 5x5 program, and made it up to 42.5Kg overhead presses, squatting 70Kg (I backed down a bit to improve my form), 70Kg deadlifts and some dumbbell curls and kettlebells to top it off.
