Kindness

I had planned to write about something else today, but just heard some awful news from somebody I know about the death of a close friend.

Unfortunately this isn't the first bit of bad news I've heard recently. We have other friends with children having to cope with terminal illness that should have been picked up by a hospital, and yet others with family members dying in tragic circumstances.

These awful events are a reminder that none of us know what others around us are having to deal with. We know about our own problems - we all have them - and it is easy to imagine that people around us are in a better situation. This isn't always the case.

This is a reminder: we all need to be kind and look after each other!
