Today has mostly been a day of preparation for Christmas. I've managed to cross off some of the more persistent entries of my Amazing Marvin task management app ... a fact only slightly offset by the observation that I've added even more items to the end.

It's not all been jobs, though. The day started with a circuits session - I had been planning to do parkrun but decided that my heel might not thank me for it. Then the errands kicked in and stayed front-of-mind until around 7pm when we went out for a short and gentle run (of the kind I'm hoping my heel with be rather forgiving of).

After tea we had a rare family viewing of a film (The Grinch That Stole Christmas). Then everyone drifted to bed - where I'm heading next.

Tomorrow - Christmas day. Be kind to each other out there, many people find Christmas pretty difficult!
