Backlog

Written May 28, 2023, tagged under post,planning,agile

We caught up with some friends this morning, ambling around the lovely Rickmansworth Aquadrome in the sun. There was also coffee. Later, we popped over to see my in-laws, and managed to catch up a bit on the family support line backlog.

Curiously, that isn't the backlog I was referring to in this post title. I've been musing on the observation that I feel I have two many things going on and ideas rattling round my head. This often ends up for me with none of them really getting done at all. It makes me wonder whether using the approach we follow at work of managing tickets in an Agile-style backlog might be worth exploring. I notice that GitLab has built-in ticketing for Agile task management, so I'm going to have a look at this, and see whether I can use it to break my too-many ideas and thoughts down into manageable chunks so I can keep moving on them. I'll check back in when I have news...
