Pics from Blenheim Triathlon 2012: a timely reminder for entering 2013

How funny! While looking through some pictures on my computer, I came across a slug of well over 200 pictures taken with my SLR by my son, then 10, when I did the Blenheim Triathlon in support of MS Trust back in June 2012. Hidden in this huge pile of random shots were some pretty decent pictures; I'll make a photographer of the boy yet!

I have picked out 11 photos for this post. They tell a nice little story of the day, showing as they do the different stages of the race as they took place. I've put my favourite here, and linked it to the set on Flickr. (Notably absent from the pictures are Mrs H, who tore her calf the day before, and was laid up at home in crutches.) The other people in the photos at the end are my training partners Holger and Faye.

This is an excellent and timely find, as I plan to sign up to Blenheim 2013 tomorrow! Yay!
