Janathon day 5: busy day, so changed plans

Never underestimate the importance of sleep! One late night/early morning, and next thing you know you're up a half-hour late and all your plans fall apart. We have a busy family day in London, and a few things to do before we go, so there was barely an hour to fit Janathon in. This ruled out my Pednor Loop run, unfortunately.
Instead, I managed a quick run of a similar length around Amersham. I didn't break any records, but it was still a nice run with a few gentle inclines. The run itself was exactly 4 miles, which I did in 36:22. I'm trying to use the "natural running" approach - forefoot strike, upright stance, fast cadence etc. On this occasion I was trying concentrate on technique: the biggest surprise to me is the extent to which you use your abs when running! Particularly after circuits and PT in the last 2 days, mine are a bit sore.
Do people count walking towards their Janathon? I walked about another mile warming up and cooling down, and no doubt will trudge miles around London, if today's journey is true to form..!
Today's total: 4 miles, 37 minutes (possibly adding 1 more mile of walking in about 16 minutes)
