Janathon days 25-28: mixed bag, and trip to the physio

After the success of Friday's pairs PT session, the weekend was a bit of a come-down. Saturday saw me taking the highly unusual step of having to go to bed for a few hours in the afternoon, and Sunday was equally quiet. I think I must have been going down with something last week, which has been pretty mild but with some kind of after-effect. This flat feeling is most unlike me!

Monday I was feeling on the right side of 90% plus, so went back to Wild Training, and while I wasn't running, the usual Tabata programme was good. The best news came today, though, when I had a trip to see the physio about my ankle. I've been avoiding running to give the ankle a chance to recover, but to no avail, so there was a lot resting on this visit! It was an encouraging trip, though: it seems I must have twisted it slightly at some point recently, and strained a ligament. I have some exercises to strengthen things there, and should be back on running in a few weeks: yay! What a relief.
