Janathon day 30: the best made plans...

... crash and burn when life has other ideas. I was supposed to be doing another hot yoga session this morning. However, a rather late "tax return" session meant I would only manage 4 hours of sleep: forget it! With the rest of the day then full of work (productive, but fraught) and an evening with friends round for a nibble (excellent company), suddenly Janathon isn't looking good!

So for my activity today I am going to claim: a "mercy mission"  sprint to town to buy eggs for breakfast; walking about a mile around two local supermarkets then our large Tesco store buying stuff for dinner; and a 1m27s plank tonight, because I felt guilty.

Getting parked in on the High Street in Amersham

Prize for the most thoughtless parking for the day goes to the lady who parked her car next to mine while I was shopping, making it near impossible for me to get out. Thanks a lot, Amersham Lady! If I hadn't been in quite such a hurry, I might have introduced myself when you came back just as I finally got out of the corner you squeezed me into.

Time spent on Janathon: Hmmm, about 30 minutes

Distance covered: Hmmm, about a mile

Plus a guilty plank

Bad parking: yes, that too
